A: ProTree is a subsidiary of BioEco.
BioEco is an enterprise offering environmental technical assistance so that firms can control their infrastructure and production processes, to be more environmentally friendly (Sustainable development).
- Q: What is Protree?
A:It is a BioEco initiative designed to mitigate problems of deforestation and different environmental causes by seeking financing for properties in forested areas in private hands. - Q: What is the cost of planting a tree?
A:The cost for planting a tree is the same, US$14.95 for 10 years. - Q: How long does it take for the Certificates to arrive and what do they cost?
A:The digital Certificate takes an average of 4 days to be sent, since each tree must be linked to its sponsor.
The printed Certificate will take between 3 and 4 weeks to reach the Donor, and will have a shipping and handling fee of US$4.95. It will be printed on banana paper, which will guarantee that no trees will be cut, in accord with our philosophy of protecting our forests.
- Q: What tree species are being adopted or planted?
A:It is important to respect biodiversity and species native to each region, so that ProTree uses only native species from the zone to avoid altering the equilibrium in the zone. - Q: How do you guarantee the trees’ safety?
A:ProTree has a group of specialists who are in charge of farm security. In addition, in coordination with universitieswe make frequent visits to the farms, providing adequate follow-ups.
